If you're a ski nut, you have to try Big White. I have been to several other mountains (none as big as Big White though, so I can't compare, Aspen or Whistler to it, sorry) and Big White is simply amazing. The price is not bad. Seems like $150 will do you just fine with rentals, lunch and a pass for the whole day. It's too rich for me to go every day, but I enjoy it every few weeks in the winter. 

The staff are all imported from Australia so it's a little odd hearing their accents in western Canada. They're really friendly and more than helpful with all of your needs.

Their lodge serves great food and they even have an outdoor ice rink at the base of the mountain for a change of pace if you're sick of skiing. If you have any questions about Big White, let me know and I'll do my best to ask them.
